The City of Fremantle has received an application from TBB Planning on behalf of its client, Development WA to initiate the partial and full closure of roads and Pedestrian Access Ways (PAWs) as identified in the Davis Park Precinct Structure Plan.

The Davis Park Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) has previously undergone a public engagement and consultation process. This part of the PSP deals specifically with the required permanent partial and whole road and PAW closures as listed below.

Road Closures:

  • Edgar Court, Beaconsfield (Whole Closure)
  • Conway Court (Partial Closure)
  • Doig Place (Partial Closure)
  • O'Reilly Close (Partial Closure)

Public Access Ways:

  • Fifth Avenue to O'Reilly Close (Whole Closure)
  • Fifth Avenue to Conway Court (Partial Closure)
  • Caesar Street to Doig Place (Whole Closure)

To submit your feedback, please use the online submission form below.

Before the City makes a final decision, we are asking the public to:

  • Review the map of proposed PAW closure sites via the Key Documents section.
  • Contribute feedback by providing a written submission via the survey on this page.
  • Request a 1:1 meeting with a City Officer.

City officers aim to:

  • Keep you informed, listen to and acknowledge concerns and provide feedback on how public input influenced the decision.
  • Work with you to ensure that your concerns and aspirations are duly noted, provide clarity on questions that may arise.

How can you meet with City Officers to discuss the proposal and your feedback?

  • 1:1 or Group Meeting: Would you like to meet 1:1 with City Officers to get clarification on the proposal, and how to best submit your feedback? You can request a meeting by emailing communityengagement@fremantle.wa.gov.au. Please note, we'll aim to meet all requests subject to staff availability.

How can you make your submission?
