Consultation has concluded
As part of Greening Fremantle: Strategy 2020, the City is working to provide usable open space within walking distance for every resident and worker in the City of Fremantle.
Previous community input and mapping identified the area of Hilton north of South Street and east of Carrington Street does not currently meet this target. A detailed investigation has identified an opportunity to improve the eastern section of Clarke Street (closed road reserve near Hines Rd and the adjoining verge) for local residents. Further information on the site can be found in the FAQs.
Following positive community feedback a design workshop was held in October 2016. A draft concept plan was developed based local community priorities and was reviewed by the local community. The final concept plan is included below or available to download.
