Fremantle Town Hall - 1929 "On 3rd June, 1929, a luncheon was held in the Town Hall for pioneers and to celebrate Fremantle becoming a city. Sir William Campion, the Governor, attended with 300 pioneers. Many toasts and speeches were made and musical items contributed by Councillor G W Shepherd and Mr and Mrs H G Higham.
