Pocket Park to Proceed

Based on the positive response from surrounding residents to the draft concept White Gum Valley pocket park on the corner of Minilya Av and Biddles Lane will proceed.

A key theme from responses was that the pocket park would provide a great opportunity to support community culture and be a meeting point, particularly as it is near other services.

Responses indicate it would be used most by children under 5 (and their families) and older adults without children. Some alterations are being made based on resident feedback and site constraints and once the detailed design is ready an update will be given.
