The City of Fremantle is holding a community information session to discuss the bushfire risk assessment and bushfire management plan for Rocky Bay Reserve and Cypress Hill.
This work forms part of a partnership project between the City of Fremantle and the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Riverbank Program.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback during the draft North Fremantle Vegetation Management community consultation.
We’ve had a great response with a number of submissions recieved. Your feedback will be used to inform the final version of the document.
We expect to present the North Fremantle Vegetation Management to Council for adoption in the middle of 2017.

Thank you to North Fremantle residents who came together this week to discuss the approach we're developing to manage foreshore vegetation. It's all outlined in this document which is open for comment until 6 March.
The feedback will be used to shape how we look after foreshore vegetation to enhance safety and amenity for residents and visitors.

The workshop will include an overview of the recommendations for managing vegetation within different foreshore zones including the bridge embankments, foreshore parkland, Point Brown, Prawn Bay, Gilbert Fraser, Cypress Hill and Rocky Bay.
We're interested to know what you think of the approach we're proposing and invite you to come along to the workshop to find out more and contribute to the discussion and feedback.
