Consultation has concluded

The City of Fremantle has received advice to reactivate an existing application to use and develop land for J Shed Unit 1 / Fleet Street Fremantle and public comments are invited.

This application was previously advertised in August 2015 but put on hold by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) at the request of the applicant to allow them to determine impacts associated with the temporary activation of the area as a music and event venue, which was approved by the WAPC in November 2015 (DA0373/15). The applicant has decided to reactivate their permanent application for the tavern, and has provided additional information to supplement the original submission.

The City invites further community comment based on the events that have occurred on site since November 2015 and the additional information provided, before making its recommendation to the WAPC.

The comment period closes on 3 May 2016.
