Last Date to Change Verge Planting
Land owners with an adjacent verge suitable for a new tree received a letter in early February with information on the species selected. Those wishing to change to the second selection must contact us before 21 February so we can finalise tree orders.
09 May → 01 June 2018
Planting
Planting commences in May! The planting will take approximately three weeks to complete and will be going from street to street. We ask all Samson residents to clear your verges of any cars or items that may get in the way.

Greening Samson Community Event & Park Planting
Free Community Event! 9am to 12.30pm at Sir Frederick Samson Park. Free hands-on activities and information such as:
Buster the Fun Bus.
Park revegetation planting event (volunteers welcome - registration at 9am).
Free native plant giveaways for local residents (please bring proof of City of Fremantle address).
Expert advice to green your verge and garden.
Chat to us about the Greening Samson project and upcoming verge street tree planting.
Bring your household batteries, car batteries, fluorescent lights, mobile phones and ink cartridges for the City's Resource Recovery team to take away.
‘Let’s Talk Rubbish!’ - helpful info on the City's new recycling centre, FOGO and the State Government plastic bag ban.
