Draft Waste Local Law 2026: Survey
In accordance with section 3.12 of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Fremantle gives public notice of it’s intent to make the City of Fremantle Waste Local Law 2026.
The purpose and effect of this local law is:
Purpose: To assist the City of Fremantle in administering waste and recycling services to maintain consistent, cost effective and functional waste management practices.
Effect: Establish the requirements with which any owner or occupier of premises using local government waste services, including the use of receptacles for the deposit and collection of waste within the district.
Following adoption by Council, the abovementioned local law will come into operation 14 days after publication in the Government Gazette.
