How can I make a submission?
Please provide your feedback by completing the online submission form below.
What happens to my comments?
Your submission will be reviewed by the assessing officer and considered in the assessment of the development application. A copy of your submission will be provided to the applicant to allow them to respond to any issues raised and to the decision maker (for example Council, Development Assessment Panel or Western Australian Planning Commission), to assist in their decision-making.
A summary of your submission may be included in publicly available reports assessing the application. Personal details such as your name and address will be removed. Please note, submitters will receive a meeting invite via email approximately one week before a scheduled Council meeting.
The agenda for the Council meeting can be found at Agendas and minutes | City of Fremantle the Thursday prior to the meeting or can be viewed on a computer at the City Library located at Walyalup Civic Centre, 151 High Street, Fremantle during normal business hours.
Should you wish to speak at the Council meeting you must register your intent to do so before 1pm on the day of the meeting. This can be done by completing the following Registration Form and emailing it to agendasminutes@fremantle.wa.gov.au. The opportunity to address Council on the proposal is limited to a maximum of three minutes. Should you need any further clarification on this process please contact the responsible Officer. Upon lodgement of a submission, we will add you to a list of people to keep informed of any upcoming public meetings or decisions on the application.
