All comments, ideas and feedback are collated and used to inform Council decision making processes for the development of strategies, planning policies and proposals, programs and activities.
The feedback we receive online is used in conjunction with feedback we receive from other methods such as events, workshops, drop-in information sessions or submissions.
This is usually compiled into an engagement report which is made available on My Say Freo and also presented to Council. Identifying information such as names and addresses are not included.

What is an LPP?
A Local Planning Policy (LPP) can be made to guide design of an area, outline an administration procedure or provide guidance for a land use.
What is a scheme amendment?
A scheme amendment is initiated when a change to the City of Fremantle’s Local Planning Scheme is required. This may be to bring it in line with strategic objectives, new state government legislation and policies, or the changing needs of the community. Click here for more general information on scheme amendments. Current and archived scheme amendments are available to view on My Say Freo.
