We're reviewing our local laws to ensure they remain current.

Section 3.16 of the Local Government Act requires a periodic review of local laws to determine whether or not they should be repealed or amended. We recently sought feedback on two City of Fremantle local laws:

City of Fremantle Parking Local Law 2006 (now closed)

Before providing feedback, please click here to view the Parking Local Law 2006.

Prevention and Abatement of Sand Drift Local Law 2002 (now closed)

Before providing feedback, please click here to view the Prevention and Abatement of Sand Drift Local Law 2002.

Copies of these local laws are also available from the City of Fremantle offices at 70 Parry Street, Fremantle (Fremantle Oval) between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and at the City Library during library open hours.

Your feedback will be reviewed and presented to Council, who will decide whether to retain, repeal or amend each local law. If amendments are recommended, a draft will be advertised for public comment.

Submissions can be made below by 5.00pm Monday 11 November 2019.
