We're proposing to repeal the Library Advisory Committee Local Law by making a Library Advisory Committee Repeal Local Law 2019.



The purpose of the proposed repeal local law is to repeal the City of Fremantle Library Advisory Committee Local Law.

The effect of the proposed repeal local law is to repeal an outdated City of Fremantle local law that no longer facilitates current or best practice.

    The City of Fremantle Library Advisory Committee Repeal Local Law 2019 was gazetted on 5 November 2019 and came into operation on 19 November 2019. To find out more information about local laws or view the local law, click here or visit https://www.fremantle.wa.gov.au/locallaws.

    The Library Advisory Committee Repeal Local Law 2019 was adopted by Council at the meeting of 16 October 2019.

    The City will now prepare the local law for gazettal. The local law will not come into effect until 14 days after it is published in the Government Gazette.
