Consultation has concluded.

The application was conditionally approved by the Metro South-West JDAP at its meeting on 5 December 2017.

A five storey mixed-use development is proposed for 69 South Street, Beaconsfield.

Application refused

The Planning Committee considered the development proposal on 7 March 2018 and supported the recommendation to refuse. The Committee felt the proposal did not meet all the criteria to obtain approval for maximum height. They also identified concerns with the extent of demolition, traffic and vehicle safety, overshadowing, lot boundary setbacks, plot ratio, visual privacy and parking.

More information is available in the Planning Committee meeting minutes, available here.
