No. Access along John Street will not change.
The area proposed for closure is currently a grassed area located behind a cyclone fence.
How did part of John Street end up being the grassed area of the Primary School?
Originally the area of John Street fronting the North Fremantle Primary School provided angled parking bays. Later this parking was no longer required and the area was enclosed with a cyclone fence.
Will part of Turton Street be closed (as per Council report)?
A partial closure of a portion of Turton Street was also requested at the Council meeting on 26 September but this was refused by Council and will not be changed.
