The development proposal was considered by Planning Committee on 6 September. The Committee decided not to approve the proposal and suggested the applicant amend their plans to reduce the amount of overshadowing, provide a setback to the southern boundary and screen the openings to the south and east to improve privacy to adjoining properties. The applicant has withdrawn their application from the City and advised they will be seeking a determination by the Development Assessment Panel.

The development proposes to replace the existing commercial building with a two storey mixed use development of two shop tenancies and eight multiple dwellings.
The plans are available for public comment until 23 June. The proposal will then be determined by the Planning Committee, who will consider the feedback prior to making a decision.
