Method Planning, representing the owners of 136-140 Hampton Road, Fremantle has applied to the City of Fremantle to have the 81m2 setback portion of Hampton Road (Lot 2146) be closed and amalgamated with their adjoining property at 136-140 Hampton Road, Fremantle.
The closure of the setback portion of public road reserve will bring their property into the same alignment as all other properties on either side of Hampton Road, Fremantle between Wray Avenue and South Street, Fremantle.
The proposed public road closure of Lot 2146 Hampton Road, Fremantle will be open for public comments for 36 days from 17/04/2023 and ending on 22/05/2023

The City has not received any public comments or submissions during the 36 days the proposal was open for comment. Therefore, in accordance with the Council resolution, a formal partial road closure and amalgamation application will be sent to the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH).
