We know Leighton Beach Precinct is a special place for the community, so the City would like to create a Little Art Play Place for our youngest visitors! 


Following community engagement in December 2022, the City of Fremantle created a brief and contracted Landscape Australia Construction to design and deliver a distinctive play space within the Reserve.


Construction works are scheduled from 15 January – 02 February 2024 and will include earthworks, hard and soft landscaping and play equipment installation. Throughout construction, closure of the Leighton Reserve car park (southern portion, located north of the site off Leighton Beach Boulevard)

    Leighton Little Art Play Place - Drop-in Session

    At the start of December, the City of Fremantle held a public drop-in session at Leighton for a Little Art Play Place. If you missed this community engagement session, there is still time to contribute via My Say Freo until January 6, 2023. The Place and Projects Team looks forward to hearing from you.
