Final Council Decision - February 2020

On 26 February 2020, the City of Fremantle Council gave its final approval to Scheme Amendment No. 77 by voting to support the amendment.

The proposed changes aim to re-zone the site to Mixed Use with a residential density of R80 (medium density).

The amendment will now be sent to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) who will make a final recommendation on the proposal to the Minister for Planning. If approved by the Minister, the amendment will be published in the Government Gazette and will then form part of the City’s Local Planning Scheme.
