What happens to my comments?

    Your comment will be provided to the applicant to allow them to respond to any issues raised and to decision-makers to assist in their decision-making. 

    A summary of your comment may be included in publicly available council and planning committee reports. Personal details such as names, telephone numbers and addresses will be removed.


    What's the purpose of the community information session?

    Members of the City’s planning team will be available to assist you interpret the plans that will be on display and to answer any questions you may have. The session is informal and designed to allow you to drop in and find out more about what has been proposed for the former Naval Store building. Elected members and the applicant have also been invited. 

    Where can I see the plans?

    The proposed plans are available for download from the document library on this page or can be viewed at the City’s customer service centre located at 8 William Street, Fremantle from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.  If you would like assistance reading the plans or have any questions, please phone Nathan Blumenthal on 9432 9999 or send an email to planning@fremantle.wa.gov.au

    Who will determine this application?

    The City of Fremantle Planning Committee recommended on 1 February 2017 that the development application be sent to the Western Australian Planning Commission for approval under Metropolitan Region Scheme.
