July - August 2016
An online survey will be open for contributions and in-person interviews held with beach users on all three beaches.
September - December 2016
We will advise the community of the results of the vulnerability and risk assessment. This will inform the next stage of community engagement on adaptation options.
Feb - Mar 2017
The results of the community values survey will be shared, along with information on the risk assessment. Both the social and technical aspects will be analysed by the project team to develop a draft coastal adaptation plan.
Sept - Oct 2017
The draft coastal adaptation plan will be released for public comment.
November 2017
The draft coastal adaptation plan will be presented to council.
The coastal adaptation plan was adopted on 22 November 2017.
