Committee and Council

We received 29 submissions on the proposed determination to prohibit the release of gas filled balloons on all local government property within the City of Fremantle, all in support. The majority of submissions cited environmental reasons for their support.

Based on this officer's will recommend Council continue with the determination. This will be considered at the Finance, Policy, Operations and Legislation (FPOL) committee and is expected to go to an Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday 26 June 2019.

Both meetings will be held in North Fremantle Community Hall, 2 Thompson Rd North Fremantle.
