Application Form: Art on High

Thank you submitting your Expression of Interest (EOI) for this exciting community-led public art initiative. Please make sure you have reviewed the document pack, FAQs and all related materials before submitting your application.

We welcome proposals from individual artists, groups and organisations across ALL art forms for projects. We strongly encourage artists of First Nations, CALD, LGBTQIA+ and disability communities with practices across disciplines to contact us.

Applications close: December 1, 2024 at 5pm AWST.

Your Proposal

Please provide us the following information to support your proposal by sharing a link to an unlocked online folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, Onedrive) Please note we can not accept WeTransfer links.

This information can be supplied as a written response or as an audio or video recording, or as a combination of both. If you require assistance completing your application (written, video or audio) please reach out and we will work with you to find a process you are comfortable with.  

  • A written description (no more than 1 A4 page) of the design concept and/or video (no more than 2 minutes) talking about the design concept.
  • Draft drawings, sketches and/or digital images that show colour and design of the design concept.
  • If you are working with the community describe who are you working with, and how will you work with them.
  • CV, biography, group profile, or collective statement.


Note that the lead artist in the project will need appropriate insurance if engaged on the project

Community groups are welcome to apply, as long as they engage with an artist as part of the project.

Please note, the City of Fremantle requires declaration of any perceived or actual conflict of interest as a part of this process and that lobbying of Elected Members will disqualify applicants from the EOI process.
