Consideration of submissions

We are scheduled to report the full consideration of submissions to the Planning Committee in December, and council after that.

In November, all submitters will receive more detailed correspondence about the progress of local planning policy 3.18.

Background to local planning policy 3.18

The policy follows changes to our local planning scheme to facilitate mixed use development in the area. The policy will ensure new development adds to the character of White Gum Valley and Beaconsfield, integrates respectfully with existing residential properties, and provides improved public space on South Street.
