The Fremantle Youth Network (FYN) fosters communication between young people and the City of Fremantle and advocates on youth needs and concerns.

The group comprises members aged between 12-25 years with a connection to Freo and includes students attending Fremantle College, John Curtin College of the Arts, Notre Dame University, Curtin University and other schools outside Fremantle and young adults working.

    The inaugural Fremantle Youth Network, comprising members aged between 12-19 years from Fremantle College, John Curtin College of the Arts, Notre Dame University, Curtin University and other schools outside Fremantle, held their first meeting on 25 March 2019.

    The FYN will meet monthly and a planning day was held recently in the April holiday break. This day considered and then shortlisted the top priority concerns of the network, key dates to campaign or support, key interest areas and training or upskilling needs.
