Consultation has concluded

The City of Fremantle has received a development proposal for a tavern, liquor store and licensed food court at the ground floor of the approved FOMO mixed use development.

The subject site is Lot 1 (No. 2) Newman Court and Lot 2 (No. 10) William Street Fremantle, and forms part of Fremantle’s Kings Square redevelopment precinct. The proposal comprises:

  • Proposed Tavern (Ground Floor Tenancies G3 & G4) FOMO North. These tenancies have a combined internal area of 618m2 and will be supported by 309m2 of alfresco dining area within the site and in the adjoining Newman Court road reserve (for which separate approval is being sought from the City of Fremantle). Please note liquor licensing is a separate process.

  • Proposed Liquor Store (Ground Floor Tenancies G17A, G17B & G18A) FOMO Emporium. These tenancies represent a combined licensed area of 240m2. Wine tastings and instore appreciation sessions may be held, otherwise alcohol consumption will not be allowed on the premises.

  • Proposed Licensed Food Court (Ground Floor Tenancies G14 & G16) FOMO Street Alley. The FOMO Street Alley license will comprise 214m2 of internal area in and around approved ground floor tenancies G14 and G16, along with an on-site alfresco area of 73m2, as indicated on the plans provided.
