Planning Committee granted approval to this proposal at its meeting on 2 May 2018, subject to a condition restricting the operation of the restaurant for a period of 5 years after substantial commencement of the development, after which the Restaurant use on the site shall cease.
The City of Fremantle has received a development proposal for a restaurant at 404 South Terrace South Fremantle. The plans are available for public comment until 16 February 2018.
What's proposed?
- A restaurant to cater for up to 120 customers and 10 staff.
- A restaurant liquor licence will be applied for, seeking permission to serve alcohol without a meal.
- The proposed hours of operation are 7 am to 11 pm Monday to Sunday.
- No on-site car parking currently exists or is proposed as part of the development.
- A service and delivery area for the restaurant is proposed on the southern side of the property, with a new crossover.
- A new front wall of solid masonry with breeze blocks for wind protection.
