Did you know?

In the 2016 Census, 1,573 Fremantle residents reported they needed help or assistance in one or more of the areas of self-care, mobility and communication. 10% of people reported that they provide unpaid assistance to a person with a disability.

Early stages of community engagement were used to guide the focus, priorities and actions of the Access & Inclusion Plan 2021-2025. This input was summarised in a Community Engagement Report.

In this stage of consultation, your feedback will tell us if we’ve captured and used this input correctly and any minor changes that are required before the Plan is finalised.   

We capture details such as your email address so that we can keep you up to date with the decision and report on how many people have participated in the process. Your personal details are not included in reports.  

This information may also be considered when developing future strategic documents.

Comments may be included in the Community Engagement Summary Report. Your personal details will not be included in this, but we ask for this information so we can make sure we've heard from a range of people and can keep you up to date with the decision. Your screen name (of your choice) may appear on public-facing comment boards on My Say Freo.

If you need help to provide your feedback, you can drop in to the Library (Fremantle Oval, 70 Parry Street, Fremantle) at any time between 3:00pm – 5:00pm Tuesday 17 August 2021. City staff will be available to discuss the draft plan and assist you.
